LE DRAGON DU GOTTERON
(The dragon of Gotteron)
Printed in unusual size (37 x 21.5 cm), this book
was an idea of Hubert Audriaz, creator of the
"Parcours Magiques" (Magical Trips) of the city of Fribourg,
Switzerland.
Its text, a traditional legend of the Gotteron (river
that arrives on Fribourg),
received a literary form with the pen of Jean-Daniel
Biolaz.
It is the story of Gaspard, young boy that lives in Auge,
the old part of the town, and his encounter with the
terrible dragon of Gottéron.
It is a tale that evokes ancient myths of the forest
and, of course, magic.
In addition to the 30 drawings (15 in large size)
that illustrate the book, Roosevelt made its lay-out.
This book copies were put on sale during the
"Parcours du Dragon du Gottéron" event,
during the '94 summer and they were quickly sold out.
